Scholarships

The Miss Universe Organization will award the new Miss Teen USA a $10,000 scholarship to be applied to continuing education tuition or other education expenses (books, etc.) at an institution of her choice.

A $5,000 cash prize will also be awarded upon the completion of her reign.

The Miss South Carolina USA and Miss South Carolina Teen USA Pageant is proud to announce the following Newberry College scholarships offered to Miss South Carolina USA 2016 and Miss South Carolina Teen USA 2016 pursuant to the following qualifications:

  • Students must meet the established standards for admission to Newberry College
  • The Scholarship is renewable for up to four years, providing the student maintains satisfactory academic progress, defined as 24 credit hours and a grade-point average of 2.0 at the end of each academic year, and adheres to established standards of behavior and discipline expected of all students.
  • Any additional institutional scholarship dollars which the recipient qualifies for will be in lieu of the pageant scholarship not in addition to it.

lindenwooduniversity

The Miss South Carolina USA and Miss South Carolina Teen USA Pageant is proud to announce the following Lindenwood University scholarships offered to Winners and Semi-Finalists in the 2018 pageant. The candidate must:

  1. Candidate must have been a contestant in the Miss South Carolina USA or Miss South Carolina Teen USA Pageant.
  2. Candidate must apply and remain continuously enrolled as a full-time undergraduate resident student in good academic and social standing.
  3. Candidate must be a new student not previously contacted by Lindenwood University.
  4. All grants/scholarships awarded by Lindenwood are subject to students meeting the admission requirements set forth by the university and are not transferrable to other Lindenwood University campuses. 
  5. Lindenwood University grants/scholarships are intended for individual use and are not intended for any group, institution, or organization
  6. Lindenwood University grants can only be stacked per institutional aid guidelines
  7. All grants/scholarships are subject to space availability and are only guaranteed for one academic year at a time.
  8. Lindenwood grant/scholarship per year renewable for a total of 10 consecutive full-time semesters or until you reach 160 cumulative hours toward a Lindenwood University degree including all applicable transfer credits. One half of the annual amount will be applied to each semester’s tuition and room and board charges. This award cannot be used for summer session.
  9. Awardees will be encouraged to promote the experience and opportunity of studying at Lindenwood University.

MISS CATEGORY – Title Holder:

  • Undergraduate (Residential): $5,000 per year scholarship.
  • Undergraduate (Online): $5,000 per year scholarship.
  • Undergraduate (Accelerated) $80 discount per credit hour.
  • Graduate: $80 discount per credit hour.

TEEN CATEGORY – Title Holder:

  • Undergraduate (Residential): $5,000 per year scholarship.

MISS CATEGORY – Runners-Up/Semifinalists:

  • Undergraduate (Residential): $3,000 per year scholarship.
  • Undergraduate (Online): $3,000 per year scholarship.
  • Undergraduate (Accelerated) $60 discount per credit hour.
  • Graduate: $60 discount per credit hour.

TEEN CATEGORY – Runners-Up/Semifinalists:

  • Undergraduate (Residential): $3,000 per year scholarship.

Salon Professional Education Company (SPEC) is proud to announce that it will be offering a variety of scholarships at our participating beauty school franchise locations for contestants and winners of the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Beauty Pageants nationwide beginning in 2016. Both The Salon Professional Academy (TSPA) and Elevate Salon Institute (ESI) brands of beauty schools will provide scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 to be applied to cosmetology programs at the location of the students choosing.

Every contestant in the Miss North Carolina USA or Miss North Carolina Teen USA competitions will be eligible to receive $2,000 to be applied toward the cost of their cosmetology tuition at the participating school of their choosing. Winners at each of the 50 state competitions will receive $5,000 scholarships. Winners of Miss USA and Miss Teen USA will be awarded an additional $5,000 for a grand total of $10,000 in scholarship awards.
